inverted pretense divided by zero. I'd say my working definition of "hipster" is someone who doesn't contribute much of anything to the "culture" they're trying to display. I.e., you can be a pretentious fuck without really being a hipster. I feel like calling a pretty hardworking band a bunch of hipsters because they say shit about hipsters and you don't pop a boner when you listen to some portion of their 70 songs is kind of a hipster thing to do, bros. also, Dylan Carlson wears flannel (oh shit)
