haha frobbert you know by now that roadburn can make dreams come true, good call on STINKING LIZAVETA its been too long, imagine them on the main stage!

most of the big dreams have been granted, but one that really still stands is SPIRIT CARAVAN.......oh! and HIGH ON FIRE on the main stage, thats needed to happen for some time....

I'v come out of lurking because I wanna add COUGH to the wishlist, they played at the same time as Pentagram in 2011 which was a great shame, they should play again and theyd be perfect for Jus's occult acid trippin night!

Also I'd love to see BELL WITCH, LYCUS, ENCOFFINATION, AHAB, its been a while since CLUTCH and itd be amazing to see EAGLE TWIN again at Roadburn on a bigger stage!

Borderline cases perhaps, but it can't hurt to ask, right? There were people who thought Enslaved and WITTR wouldn't fit the bill, right? And in the meantime we've also had Wovenhand, Swans, Jesse Sykes and Bob Wayne, among others. Borders are there to be crossed

I saw Dälek live once and it's pretty dark stuff...pretty encompassing but still "hiphop" (kinda)...dunno, up to Walter.

I really like Dälek, but probably wouldn't want him at Roadburn.

Exactly, certain bands can easily play and fit in at Roadburn even if their respective "genre" lies outside of the usual realms that people have come to expect from the festival. Which is why some black metal bands have gone down really well I guess. Its all about the aesthetic. But we don't need an over saturation of bands fitting that description to take over too.
