Status Quo (Come on, they would fit perfectly!)

Nah, not anymore. Saw 'em two years ago at the Bospop festival. They look and sound like a wedding band now.

On that same festival I saw John Fogerty. Now he and his band do rock pretty hard!

Aye, thought Cirith Ungol would be a long shot, can always hope.

Shame to hear about the Quo although maybe I shouldnt be supprised. I would definately be up for some John Fogerty at Roadburn tho, thats a good shout. Cant quite see it happening tho.

My only request;

An exclusive John Carpenter headline set following a day of his movies in the RB cinema.

As we talk about movie soundtracks: An orchestra which plays stuff by Angelo Badalamenti would be awesome. :D Okay, it will not happen, but the dark, haunting yet beautiful music of Films such as Mulholland Drive, Blue Velvet, Twin Peaks or Lost Highway would fit Roadburn well.

It would be nice to have a band doing a live soundtrack for a film. I think KTL and Year of no Light did some stuff like that.

Yeah! Year Of No Light did that with the film "Vampyr" (1932). It was beyond words! The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble played with a cool film on the screen, too.

Mugstar with their soundtrack of Ad Marginem, but that movie's not so Roadburnish as far as I know. But it's about time Mugstar played Roadburn...waiting for them for years, played a few shows in NL (1 June as well) but it's always (been) just out of reach for me, logistically

If we're talking movie scores, I think a Morte Macabre reunion would be nice

Does David Lynch ever perform live?

K.O.D., the promoter of the Keep It True festival has apparently been nagging the Cirith Ungol guys to do a reunion for years but they've not even come close to accepting :(

Pisser, but there you go. I do wonder if his unique vocals would survive intact...

I seriously can't imagine them reforming, but IF they did :shock:
