fairly straightforward question for anyone here who knows what they're doing in photoshop (because i usually don't). how would i go about removing the white box from behind a logo, to be placed on a cover/flyer? i know it can be done, and it seems like it should be fairly simple. any help is appreciated

not helpful, it's still there. would anyone care to explain what i may be doing wrong?
