I was not sure where to put this so I thought here would be best. I have several questions:

1. I just got the Neutron Hammer 'Extermination Kommand' 10". Does anyone else have this? If so, could the cover photo be an old crime scene photo?

2. Is anyone here a Combat/Combat Core Records collector? If so, please get in touch.

3. Is anyone a forum member at The Corroseum?

Thanks.
JMM

You barely posted there those days either, which was a shame.

Thanks for the responses. I've tried to sign up for The Corroseum only to ask a couple of specific questions, but for some reason every time I try to sign up I am denied? Maybe not cool enough? I see a post that the administrator is moving servers, so that might be a part of it. I emailed DaN, the main administrator, and have heard nothing...?

I think The Corrorseum is a cool site especially the old label information. It was cool to read the interview posted with the guy behind Exorcist, Piledriver and others...cannot remember his name.

The main question I have if any out there can answer, is about Combat Records. Does anyone know the significance of the different center labels. I have some releases that have the gray label with red 'Combat' lettering, e.g., the 'Boot Camp' series. Other releases I have come across feature a green label with black 'Combat' lettering, e.g., Helstar 'Burning Star'.

The other day while searching eBay I saw a Death 'Leprosy' copy, signed, that had a green camo label with red 'Combat' lettering which I have never seen before.

Do the label colorings concern pressings or whether pressed in Europe/US? During the time of early Combat I lived in Stuttgart, Germany (1980 - 1988). All of the Combat Records I was able to buy at local record stores (Guvi Schallplatten, LERCHE) featured the grey camo label with red 'Combat' lettering, although I am fairly certain that most of those releases, especially the 'Boot Camp' series were printed in the US and I bought them as imports.

Thanks to all who read. Any info/help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, there's been quite a few hitches & glitches with it. I can only view it through a proxy.

Ernest,

Hello. Do you have contact with anyone on Corroseum that might be able to answer my Combat Records question? Maybe, Ion Britton?

Cheers,
John M.
