i'm not sure why bands (or people) feel the need to draw attention to this kind of thing. if people like you, and buy your shit and go see your band, then you're kind of "hipster" band anyway.

than go to college, get a fucking degree and a real job and give up playing music, you fucking asshole. that hipster you hate so much just gave you money for your music and probably told one of his friends about you. therefore. allowing you to make money off of your "art."

I like a lot of Thou, their newer records less and less compared to the early stuff but still. If they want to corner the hipster market then, I guess somebody has to.



They distribute exclusively to second hand shops. Also apparently have an animal on your t-shirt such as a tiger, wolf, or goat, is now hipster. So there's that.

I don't see the point in starting a thread about this either.

I remember when these dudes showed up at my house to play awhile back and I was completely flabbergasted when they walked in. Up until then I'd never seen what they looked like and when they walked through the door I was shocked. Just from listening to them I was expecting a bunch of bearded, big, metal dudes. Instead it was a bunch of freshly shaven, clean looking youngsters (not a bad thing).

Oh well, I mean look at Bongripper.......
