My friend, who recently told me that he wants to get a tattoo of his favorite underground hip-hop collective's logo. I told him that I think logo tattoos are always a bad idea and that he should get some more original art done on him instead.
He tried to turn it around on me and say I sounded like his dad, and then said: "I don't know what I'm going to like 20 years from now and neither do you. I'd rather regret the tattoo later on in life than be like you and regret that I never got any tattoos in the first place." It was a silly attempt to try to make me feel bad and feel like more of an outcast than I already was in that situation, being the only one there without any tattoos whatsoever, but it didn't work.
