I'm actually jonesing pretty hard for these. And if I were a Norwegian Dapper Dan Spokesmodel, I'd buy 'em today. http://www.scumbackspeakers.com/

I love spec sheets with no specs on them.

I have two 65w Scumbacks M55 and M75. Jim's also provided top notch customer service. I'm looking for another two of the same speakers to load in my vintage Marshall. Great speakers though Greenbacks never had the reputation of staying extremely clean. So you will get some breakup and dirty cleans. I'm a huge Greenback fan. Highly back the use of Scumbacks. I just want some of those bigger magnet early/mid 70's 122142 Fanes for my Emperor.

The specs are different than the Fanes I'm looking for, plus they are expensive considering I could score what the ones I want for around the same price just a hair higher or less (if I'm lucky).

We have two guitars and no bass player, so we're not too reliant on top end in his guitar, he doesn't have a normal guitar sound, it sounds rather like the missing link between guitar and bass ATM. Less sensitive speakers sounds good though, the 120 sounds good when pushed IMO, but it's too loud for concerts.

Just get a bass cab then. Figure if you want drive from pedal, amp or both though. Barefaced Super 12 would be ideal, toppy enough for guitaryness, but still a bass cab, and not super sensitive because it is tiny.

Got my B100 back from a fresh cap job and bias with parts from Vintage Hiwatt Restoration. Snapped a gut shot before I closed it up. Can't wait to get more time with it once I build a Jazzmaster. Little I played sounded fucking excellent.

I've been curious about getting a cap job done to my sound city 120. How much of a change did you notice? I'm pretty happy with it as-is but I've always wondered what one actually notices with a cap job. Also, I have the choice of EH, Sovtek Svetland or Tesla EL34s - does anyone have input to what works "best" in a SC120? I wholesale with allparts and since thats all they carry for EL34s and I want to save cash that's what I'm working with.

Shuguangs are best.
Cap jobs make it sound loads better if the caps are bad, if they are fine, just means it will stay sounding like it should for longer. Also if you upgrade them you get less sag and stuff when pushed.
