when EARTH opened for SUNN here in frisco whenever that was-there was some ethereal tape stuff going on before and after SUNN left the stage. scaree i tell ya. and after a sunn show how could that be-but...it was.
what about david chandlers effects in vitus? i know he mainly uses his famous sg's into a (from what i've seen) marshall, but i know he uses alot of wah and other effetcs aswell.

the time i saw sunn on their tour with boris opening (2006?), they played logan auditorium in chicago. oren ambarchi played synth which was just low notes that made my entire body vibrate, including my eyes and throat. i think that was a moog probably ran through something as well.
Was also at that show, and yes, I remember his synth being a moog. It was great to look down and watch my t-shirt just kind of flapping around due to all the low-end vibration. Just nuts.

Someone was asking about guitar on the first Witch album. I remember reading in a magazine around the time that came out, that they used a Little Muff on the guitar.
not so much for the tone (although i do love it), anybody have any idea what gear anal cunt used? i've seen photos of seth playing sg's with ac, adolf satan, etc. but any clue what guitars/effects scott hull and josh martin used?
